Chip Roy
@chiproytx

Why I will oppose the #DebtCeiling “deal.” It’s not a good deal. Some $4 Trillion in debt for - at best - a two year spending freeze and no serious substantive policy reforms. #NoDeal

Why is it with the D's and the R's do I think it will be a bad deal no matter what they do? They are just pretending they are negotiating...

i hope they can hold the line, but i fear far too many who stood up the last time are now bought and paid for or have extortion stuff out there in the hands of FBI to pressure them with

Any Republican who votes against this bill but doesn't vote to vacate the Speaker's chair is endorsing the plan, regardless of their vote.

But maybe they like McCarthy getting rolled by "tough, smart" Joe Biden.

Because government.
And a handful of stand-up exceptions (e.g., Andy Biggs, Dan Bishop, Eli Crane, Matt Rosendale, Chip Roy) can’t make the difference.
They’re but drops of water in an ocean.

I am really sick and tired of the establishment critters in DC. No way will I vote for another one.

People have had enough on twitter. I don't think people realize how up to here people are with the GOP establishment. They may as well all be democrats.

The contrast between the GOPe and the America First (gang of 20) couldn't be easier to see.

Not only is the deal pathetically bad, the lies that are being told about it from Republicans themselves to justify it is insane. Truth doesn't even matter anymore and the GOP itself is doing the bidding of the Democrats.

This is a horrible deal.

Unsurprisingly.

Hope it does not pass

This is what the Pettifoggers of the world don't understand.

They look at Trump voters and just assume they are Republicans. The reality is that the only thing keeping these people voting Republican is the America First / MAGA movement. Without it, those voters aren't voting Republican. They HATE the GOP establishment.

We still have people thinking Republicans are a strong voting bloc like it used to be. It would be funny if it wasn't tragic.

The Trump lovers are having one hell of a time reconciling their hatred/support of McCarthy.

Another one of Trump's failed endorsements.

I think the GOP establishment want 80 billion dollars to the SEIU IRS so that 87,000 armed IRS agents can raid people like Matt Taibbi and the working class, business owners.

The 80 billion dollar secret is that the Uniparty in DC despise deplorables enough to sick the IRS on True The Vote organizations, & private deplorable citizens now.

Cut the crap. If this is about TDS-- DC critters control their nominee by rank and order of the power hold of the establishment caucus.

Then when people try to vote them out McConnell buys very expensive voting equipment for Murkowski, and then cuts off non establishment. (Lake, Mastriano, Blake)

If it is about DeSantis. He is swamp. DC won't allow him to change their power structure.

Come on. Trump was basically begging House Reps to support McCarthy.

It's worse than that, they want to target all taxpayers and the middle class will be jammed up by them soon enough.
