Chip was Ted Cruz's chief of staff and led the Cruz super pac. He loved bashing Trump in the primaries. He came around some but then bitched out again big after January 6th. A guy who didn't like Trump in 2016 is endorsing someone else in 2024. This is pretty unsurprising news.
