I've got one.....enter into a koolaid suicide pact, bond with each other for our last remaining hour on earth, but at last second arrange an ole switcheroo and serve ourselves virgin koolaid while all leftists get the cyanide.

The very last of the judgments mentioned in Revelation 16 mentions flashes of lightning and peals of thunder, a worldwide earthquake along with hailstones at around 100 pounds each will hit the Earth.
An asteroid or direct comet hit, given its metallic composition, could play havoc with the magnetic poles to cause the earthquake, its entry would cause sonic booms (and interaction with the atmosphere to cause light shows worldwide) and the hailstones would be the asteroid or comet breaking up over the atmosphere.
The Chelyabinsk meteor in 2013 caused a momentary flash as bright as the sun followed by a shock wave. A comet hit would cause multiple occurrences.
And it WILL cause mankind to be united, but not like you would think:
"and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe" (Rev. 16:21b)
