Keep in mind. They have to not only be guaranteed (in their minds) that they can take it but also that they can hold it. Otherwise, they won’t move.

Of course theyre not 
We have begun selling them even more advanced aircraft and all other types of defenses recently though. And again, the island is a massive fortress basically on its enter perimeter built to allow the US Navy time to arrive.
China would take unfathomable losses that Dday would look like childs play. Only to take a foothold on an island they cant efficiently extend their armies into because we have fricked up their entire logistical line

Show me the very limited naval shipping that can move troops and materials in preparation for an invasion being prepared.
