With a healthy economy, you'll make more money than inflation will devalue your money.
In theory, but doesnt work for most of the population living on paychecks when you have explosive inflation.
We also have a growing Demographic time bomb. All these people we are importing will be left behind as the window rises as does the floor.
Our economy is evolving to high tech and service work, the floor for a decent standard of living keeps rising.
Lots and lots of folks are being left behind, particularly the millions we are now importing who will become violent and idle.

Explosive inflation means that the "healthy economy" part is not occurring.

. We are being overrun by illegal third world invaders. We have bigger problems.
Would not be a problem in an industrialized society.
But we are postindustrial and its a time bomb.

You keep acting like you know economics and it’s hilarious reading your posts about it.

Have you been following recent developments in China's military?
Yes. Quite the embarrassment. They are not attacking anyone till they audit their entire military. But they still got time and resources for other fun projects.
In addition to the arbitrary detention of Uyghurs in state-sponsored camps, government policies have included forced labor, suppression of Uyghur religious practices, political indoctrination, forced sterilization, forced contraception, and forced abortion. Experts estimate that, since 2017, some sixteen thousand mosques have been razed or damaged, and hundreds of thousands of children have been forcibly separated from their parents and sent to boarding schools. Chinese government statistics reported that from 2015 to 2018, birth rates in the mostly Uyghur regions of Hotan and Kashgar fell by more than 60%.

China is currently not an economic threat
Has China stopped industrial espionage? Scientific theft? Spying, bribing and monopolistic practices here and across the entire globe? If your answer is no then they are still a threat.

China is currently not an economic threat and is imploding internally.
Historically whenever hostile nations decrease in their economic threat to the world they proportionally increase their military thread to the same world.
Taiwan will likely bear the brunt molt likely right before or shortly after the Nov elections.
If it's after and Trump wins as it looks like will handily do, then get ready for the lap dog propaganda media to flood the air waves with warmonger stories against Trump and the Republicans while totally ignoring the factual reason it came to this like they always do.

This decline is a lack of actual economic development within the population.
China is just showing that you can't "skip steps" and it will ultimately fail.
It called communism. State owned means of production that quashes human creativity and ambition.
Couple that with the demographic time bomb about to go off in China, hopefully it leads to a revolution. A revolution were the CCP is crushed forever.

Depends on who it benefits.
We're growing an underclass though, I think thats pretty obvious for all to see.
I'll take cuts in my standard of living, easily. I' dont need as much as most of you to thrive.

The problem is China's culture of grift and theft has thwarted this

China probably can't take Taiwan easily and this would be literal suicide long-term.

They're going to go back to being an underdeveloped shite hole.
Kind of like the ME countries who don't use their petro wealth to legit diversify. Reminds me of a quote from the movie Syriana.
