Well, ya see.

Our policy which was designed to pressure them caused them to not buy soybeans...….and, now, they're gonna buy a shite ton after being pressured......but you can't count those!!!

I, and everyone else on here has repeatedly told you that if we can live in a tariff free world with no one cheating, that's the best.

But, that sometimes, if someone is cheating their arse off, it can be argued that they're necessary.

And yes, even then, tariffs are bad, but, if the other guy is big enough that he can impose them on his end long enough to destroy you, you can't just sit on your hands.

You simply dismiss this as a lie on our part. I can't help that you're stupid.

wow, what a feeble deflection.

i suppose i DO hate that we are experiencing a totally-unforced manufacturing slump though. thank goodness for the service continuing to carry us more and more.

eta: how do you feel about this, particularly the last several months?

I feel like I can't laugh hard enough at your choice of graph.

All employees, Manufacturing / all employees non-farm

Because, of course, ya didn't like this graph near as much

Nice Try

What my chart shows, and what you and the trade warriors you're defending clearly don't like, is that despite all of our efforts to protect manufacturing, it's stalling trailing the rest of the economy.

Remember all the economists saying Trump would crash the economy.....

Oh he is going to. It will come when he leaves office and the next guy can't see the way to success is a continuation of Trump's pro-growth policies. We will be hurting then for sure.

Yes... huge slump in manufacturing. I'm sure the hundreds of thousands of new manufacturing jobs in the last few years are being created just because companies are altruistic, but do not really need the labor.
