No you didn't. I'm sure you like most others had attraction to the opposite sex, but you probably didn't fully understand it. It was probably a mix of wanting to see boobs with having zero interest in girls in general.

Later, as things became more clear, you've retroactively decided you knew you were straight when you were 9.

That description is what's best for kids. Let them be kids. Let their development happen on their own timeline. In the end, if they end up being gay, love them the same way you would if they were straight.

It would be just as wrong for someone to have noticed your appreciation for boobs, and sat you down at 9 and forced you down a path of accepting your heterosexuality. There is just no need or positive benefit to doing that to children of that age.

The truth is that those who push it at that age aren't doing it for the betterment of the child...they are willing to hurt the child to push the normalization of homosexuality.

So, what are you saying? That adults didn't need to confirm and push a specific sexuality for you?

What would happen if someone with an agenda, despite your clear internal heterosexual inclinations, had decided that you were instead a homosexual based on some behavior you were displaying. What if they tried to push that on you? You think that might have confused you a bit?

It's unhealthy to push that determination on a 9 year old.
