Indeed I am so accusing. And you've offered no argument that it isn't. I don't accuse you of child abuse. I accused the poor kid's parents and Buttigieg. And stand by that accusation wholeheartedly.

You just keep calling me mentally ill in an ad hominem attack. Do you want me to cite peer-reviewed publications on childhood sexuality to "prove" to you that no one can know whether a 9 year old is actually gay (or will be)? Of course it is my opinion, based on the science of childhood sexuality, that to trot your 9yo child out on stage before a national audience and allow him to tell a gay man that he, said 9yo, is gay, and to allow that gay man to talk to my 9yo son about their mutual gayness is fricking child abuse.
And if that means I'm mentally ill then so be it. Come and take me away.

Welp - it was a short fad when I was a kid - Maybe the scriptwriters for Grease copied what we were doing in Vernon Parish back in the 50 - 53 era. Maybe we were trend setters. Don't know how it got started - some older 'cool kids' in my high school were doing it, so I did too - for a month or so.
Pretty sure I haven't thought about doing it since then.

So when the kid says he's gay you assume that it must be sexual in nature but if someone says they're attracted to the opposite sex it isn't necessarily sexual in nature? I'm trying to follow the logic here.
Either people can figure out who they're attracted to at age 9 or not. If it's possible for straight people to figure out they're attracted the opposite sex at age 9 (I knew for sure at that age) is it really that far fetched to think that the same applies to gay people?

9 yr olds shouldn't be thinking about 'homosexual' or 'straight' at all at that age unless they are being influence by their mentors or acquaintances -
the fact is that 9yrs should be acting NORMAL - as budding human intellects to be molded for better or worst.
I don't dwell in my inability to fly - cause there is no reason for me to do so. Concept is foreign to my body. To think that a 9yr old is thinking about things like 'straight/homo/trans' crap is merely an indication that they have been maltreated in their moral/intellectual development.
the entire concept is a travesty imposed by truly vile people.
