Maybe, but did you also think that there was no way Jill would let Biden drop out of the race? If so, how much actual power did she have at that point? How much now?

He obviously was forced to drop out despite Jill. I don’t think it’s a leap to think that he may be forced to resign, despite her potential objections, should Trump win.

Sure, they might make him but to what point? I think they allowed him to finish out his term in exchange for dropping out. They wouldn’t gain anything if Kamala loses and they let her play President for 2 months. Would have been much more advantageous to promote her before the election and allow her to run as the incumbent.

I do agree with that. But again, tinfoil hat on, it would be a big parting shot to the country and ruin a lot of 45-47 hats.

Also, she could do a lot of damage via executive orders in two and half months on the way out, as could Biden obviously.

True but every single EO will be overturned on 1/20. Biden needs to be president to pardon his son.
