You have an elected (and sitting) public official blatantly calling for violence if a guilty verdict is not reached.

How can this idiot judge who knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this was a volatile trial and should’ve moved it outside of Minny to begin with, be ok with this rhetoric? Just the lack of sequester alone in this climate should be grounds.

Why aren’t people threatening violence if they don’t get a guilty verdict being rounded up and charged with terroristic threats?

These people are terrorist and should be treated as such. But the FBI is neutered and bows to the Leftist. Nothing happens to the filth. Police stand and watch stores burned and people assaulted by today’s brown shorts.

Maxine Waters was calling for a guilty verdict. It’s all over the board.

It absolutely means it should be a mistrial.

She is an elected official who has flat out said we have to stay in the streets and be more confrontational if GF is found not guilty.

She also said frick the curfew.

She is by the very definition enticing violence and should be impeached.

He knows that, he is just being obtuse and intellectually dishonest...not looking for true discussion.

Isn’t the jury sequestered, and cut off from internet, TV, papers?

Don’t misrepresent what she said.
You cannot link a report of her calling for violence in the event of a not guilty verdict, because she didn’t say it.
You aren’t speaking only to your usual echo chamber, which will not call you out for lying.
Link it if she said it.

A mistrial would be a worst-case scenario for the defense

I mean I guess that’s not as bad as saying go peacefully and patriotically make your voice heard, but it’s still pretty bad.

It is bad and irresponsible because of the timing.
But she does not call for violence.
Nor does she link it to the verdict.
But it is clearly divisive.

Here ya go.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/maxine-waters-urges-minnesota-anti-police-crowd-to-stay-on-the-street-if-chauvin-acquitted-in-floyd-case

quote:

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., showed up at an anti-police brutality protest in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on Saturday evening, saying demonstrators needed to "stay on the street," demanding justice until police reform becomes a reality.

"I’m going to fight with all of the people who stand for justice," Waters told reporters shortly before an 11 p.m. curfew. "We’ve got to get justice in this country and we cannot allow these killings to continue."

quote:

Asked about the Derek Chauvin murder trial in Minneapolis, Waters told reporters if the former police officer isn't found guilty of murdering George Floyd, "We've got to stay on the street and we've got to get more active, we've got to get more confrontational. We've got to make sure that they know that we mean business."

They impeached 45 for saying "fight" to an angry mob and she was at the head of the lynch mob...
