I don’t know if you’ve been in a coma for a few years but equal treatment under the law isn’t really a thing any more. And a lot of people rejoice in that fact.

Why not do this to the parents of juvenile gang bangers? If you applied this penalty to all parents of criminal kids you might get a change in society.

Because this is at least partially, maybe mostly about the color of their skin and gun control. We knew the first part already and only suspected the second, but the DA opened her pie hole and removed any doubt about it as well.
