You think there is decades-old evidence that would incriminate someone in New Orleans for doing something that shouldn't have been done that led to the indictment of Liz Murrill?

Thanks for the clarification.

You do understand that the DA and Judge are required to possess some understanding of when it's appropriate versus when it's not appropriate to call for a GJ, correct?

Is there a concrete standard for determining what is appropriate?

You do understand that there is at the very least some question that procedures may have been violated in the convention of the GJ, correct?

You do understand that once they opened that door, they are potentially liable for any missteps, civil rights violations, and breaches of misconduct, correct?
Since you are familiar, what procedure was likely violated or breached that resulted in Liz Murrill's civil rights being violated? Which of her civil rights was violated?
quote:

What aggravates the hell out of most of us about your schtick is that when you want to be taken seriously, you actually do possess some critical thinking skills and command of the english language

i said explicitly that I didn't know procedures around convening a Grand Jury and that I was sincerely asking for clarity. No one will provide any clarity just hopes that a vague civil rights violation comes to light.

Your already admitted "frivolity" of the prosecution would probably be a good starting point.

Seems like you, as much as anyone, would be up in arms about actors of the state trying to use the criminal/judicial process in a frivolous manner.

When the State exercised its legal authority to nullify the practical effect of a local election, the answer was simply, “The State had the legal authority.” But when Orleans officials exercised legal authority to pursue an indictment, the discussion suddenly shifted from legality to whether they should have exercised that authority.

Posters are now outraged about a potential vague and unnamed civil rights violation of a Republican politician while scoffing at actual demonstrated State interference to local democratic governance.

The poliboard is only concerned with the feelings of Republicans. That's it. If a Republican has hurt feelings, the poliboard will run to that Republican's internet defense regardless of professed principles or values.

Can I presume you feel similarly about the frivolous charges pressed by Liz Murrill against Susan Hutson and her CFO?

I called the indictment frivolous. What other action do you expect me to take? What action did you take?

If I had admitted to the frivolity of such, sure.

You're assuming facts not in evidence.

She’s a political species, not a principled individual. She’s only against government prosecutorial overreach when she can play the white leftist savior. One of the many reasons why posters don’t take her or her opinions seriously

You did not decry the indictment against Murrill? Mea culpa.

Yeah, these aren't comparable in the slightest.

This did not happen.

This statemnt could and may be correct, but it has nothing to do with any issue discussed in this thread. I think you probably need to research more before posting, or simply read without posting until you can understand basic civics.

No, dingleberry, Judges and DA's just do what they want to do. There are NO RULES governing ethics or procedure. It's a virtual legal orgy, apparently, in Orleans Parish.

I don't know...you don't know...so while I can't say any investigation will go beyond just investigation, you cannot say the investigation shouldn't take place. What scares you about this?

See my reply above, let the process play out. But this scares you, so you're willing to question it at every turn.

I have stated on more than one occasion that I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I'm done with that. You have been screaming for justice and fairness for the poor disenfranchised voters that elected the CofC, and anyone who doesn't align with your viewpoint doesn't get the same. You're a hypocrite of the highest order. But the difference between you and me is that you're willing to look away when your side violates the law. I can't say the same for me.

I think the most pathetic part of this whole thing is that you spend your time imagining and posting about what I look like
I know what you look like. Or, at least what you looked like about 10 years ago.

You posted a photo of yourself, remember?

I'd say you were about 3 tequila shots at 2:00 AM away from being nice looking in spite of the huge, oversized sunglasses you were wearing.

I was shocked you'd post a photo on the internet of your young child with you.

You've repeatedly referred to possible procedural violations. Why are you refusing to actually name a violation?

Huh? You referenced a violation so I asked you what it was. I didn't say anything about suspending an investigation that hasn't started yet. Why would I be scared? I wasn't involved with any of this stuff.

This is what you posted. Were you just trying to manifest a violation?

You're using some emotional language - why? You think my asking you to clarify what procedures you claim were violated is an admission of fear? Or is this an admission that you don't know what your own accusations are?

I didn't have any kids 10 years ago, but noted. I wasn't even posting here 10 years ago. I think I stopped posting in 2012? I took a long break. I didn't start posting again until 2023 or 2024.

I DIDN'T MAKE UP ANYTHING DUMBASS. IT'S BEEN REPORTED BY MULTIPLE NEWS OUTLETS THAT THERE WAS SOME QUESTION AS TO SOME IMPROPRIETY OF PROCEDURE IN CONVENING THE GJ, DUMBASS.

an admission that you don't know what your own accusations are

THEY'RE NOT MY ACCUSATIONS, DUMBASS.

MY GOD, YOU'RE A DUMBASS., AND A FEMALE SFP TO BOOT. YOU JUST OBFUSCATING TO THE POINT WHERE IT'S REASONABLE TO CONCLUDE YOU CANNOT BE REASONED WITH, YOU DUMBASS.

If an indictment is an accusation of a possible crime and you're claiming that suggesting Murrill possibly committed crimes was egregious, so you're using the same framing of "possibility of a violation" to figuratively indict officials in New Orleans?

Fighting fire with fire. Nice.

AND YET YOU FAIL TO SEE HOW THAT NEGATES YOUR ARGUMENT THAT MURRILL SHOULD HAVE BEEN INDICTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

AGAIN, YOU'RE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE LAW AS A NIGHT STICK WHEN YOU WANT TO APPLY IT. SCREW EVERYONE ELSE, RIGHT?

DUMBASS.

AND DON'T BOTHER REPLYING, I'M DONE WITH YOU. YOU'RE SO BLINDED BY YOUR IDEOLOGY THAT YOU CAN'T SEE PAST YOUR OWN FACE.
