My records were stolen from my secret clearance maybe about 10 years ago. From what I remember someone broke into a DOD computer system and stole tons of them. Maybe a Russian who sold it to ISIS. I think they ended up catching the guy supposedly. Only good thing is a neverending credit/identity monitoring the government gave me.

I am curious if this escapes most people memories or were not following politics during this time? 1997 was right smack in the middle of Clinton taking Chinese money for citizenship. This moment in time is when China was allowed to start infiltrating our government with bags of cash going into the Clintons accounts.
As for this particular story, something smells very wrong. No way Gascon is pursuing this for "Justice". There has to be some other angle involved here. Two Clinton stories came out this week that I saw. One was the Clinton foundation started taking in money again. the other was Hillary will run again in 2024. Does this put the Clintons at odds with the Democrats power brokers who assumed power in the Clintons absence??? Is this notice to the Clintons to stay out of the game?

Yep, it was a big deal. The Clinton's put the CCP communist flag up and welcomed them with red carpet. No one called them the CCP anymore.

How can election workers full data directly to the CCP be innocuous? Also: if they had a backdoor with this; it could allow them to easily sign on remotely as a high-ranking election worker and change votes.

Cyber Security is a huge deal in corporate America with companies spending millions annually to have the latest and greatest technology and employee training to protect its computer networks and data. How much money and effort do you think local election officials put into cyber security prevention?
One simple breach can open many doors to the palace and just think how many open doors their are in our election system.

Your "it's happening" needle has moved from executions at Guantanamo to storing some info in China, which will end with a fine and a pinky promise not to store data in China again.
I'd even be surprised if they terminated the remaining years of the contract.
Has anybody gotten a copy of the contract? It'd be nice if there were stipulated damages available to go along with the $250 fine he'll get.
