it should have already ended.
Vaccines keep at-risk from overwhelming health system.
MAB therapy keeps people from dying.
This isn't something we don't know how to treat anymore. People will die from it but people die from a lot of things.
COVID should be over and a distant memory.

That's on dumb bel. But, I'm not his nor anyone else's guinea pig. If I'm fired so be it but I wouldn't put an experimental serum in my body.

It created nine new billionaires. They need more money and so they can create a happy billionaire family.

Beware of the Ides of August. This week I was in California counties with mask mandates. I was only asked to put on a mask once out of the two dozen times I was indoors, and this was a fat soy boy at check in at a Hilton. Most the people didn’t mask walking around. People aren’t going to take it anymore. Next week is going to be crazy. Buckle up.

I think the fact that I work in long term care (still telemed from home) has made me feel the exact same. I’m a lowly RD but people die — of all kinds of things and it sucks. Badly.
But it happens.
Btw, do you know what the qualifications are to get mab?? Friend couldn’t as her BMI was normal; don’t think she had other risk factors.

Yeah, it feels like things are going to pop next week. I did see that Psaki says there won't be lockdowns, but I'm not sure if I believe that or it was sleight of hand.

The qualifications have been broadened.
Basically any comorbidity could qualify you now.

So why is there a major push for vaccine mandates all around?
That 'tis the question of the day, of the week, of the month, of the year.
The question that immediately pops up for me is this: when these vaccines were developed they were conceived with the specific thought in mind of the "original covid-19". OG coronavirus. My limited understanding of vaccines has led me to believe that a vaccine is produced in connection with a rather specific strain of a virus. But the virus is bound to morph into a new, different variant of the OG virus. So the original vaccine was not produced with the thought in mind of the newer variants. Thus, essentially useless for protection against new variants.
Cliff Notes: the virus has outrun the vaccine. Vaccine is useless against any new variant(s).

The BMI cut off is 25 now. It's possible they would balk at MAB'ing you but as a health care worker they could probably figure out a way to fudge it a little bit.
I know I would

Bet those numbers are backwards and 55% hospitalizations are vaxxed and 35% unvaxxed
They switched enemy dead in Viet Nam I know for a fact to make it look less Americans and more Viet Cong were killed! It was criminal

How about we spend 1 trillion on developing therapeutics instead of filling potholes, modernizing AMTRAK and handing cash to LGTBV infrastructure?

I’m under that and they’re still making me work remote but I guess I wouldn’t have to tell them that
