holy hell you have to wear a mask?

I can't imagine doing something that has a high misery factor as it is (Disney, cruises, etc.) and then having to mask up half the time.

Not very strict but for the most part adults are wearing masks. Kids under 18 are hit and miss with the masks. The adults not wearing masks are as expected those that wear muscle shirts and sandals to the main dining room

The two I have been on were quite lenient as far as masks.

NCL about two weeks ago came out and said they were requiring them inside after previously not. Again curious to see how much it’s actually enforced

If you go and get sick, don’t get tested. They’ll separate you from your family, throw your arse off the boat at the nearest port and eventually fly you back from there to your departure port. Just happened to a lot of folks with RC (I think that was the line).

Reading this while in my cabin on a cruise ship. Just getting in from an excursion in Mexico. The air conditioning did not work at all for the forty-five minute ride back to port. Would do it again. Freedom!

You should avoid cruise ships because they’re a fricking racket. There are thousands of better and more efficient ways to spend your vacation money while visiting the same places.

Unless you just love floating on the ocean that much it’s a ripoff.

But if I own my own boat I can still cruise right?

Cruises are floating trailer parks, why bother?

I’ve never been on a cruise, but this does make it more enticing.

This is a dumb and lazy take on cruising. Sure, if you're doing a weekend booze cruise on Carnival it's going to have its fair share of the trailer park crowd. Choose a more prestigious cruise line and do an itinerary that has better stops than Cozumel and Senor Frog's butthole and you'll have a more enjoyable trip.

And at the same time, they want to mandate domestic air travel....go figure.

So, it doesn't matter what your vaccine status is on a boat, but it does matter on a plane.
