They do not want to let go of this power.

CDC director ‘really worried’ about states rolling back Covid measures as cases appear to plateau

The head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that she is “really worried” about some states rolling back public health measures intended to contain the pandemic as U.S. cases appear to be leveling off at a “very high number.”

The declines in Covid-19 cases seen since early January now appear to be stalling at around 70,000 new cases per day, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a White House news briefing. “With these be statistics, I am really worried about more states rolling back the exact public health measures we have recommended to protect people from Covid-19.”

“Seventy thousand cases a day seems good compared to where we were just a few months ago,” she continued. “Please hear me clearly: At this level of cases with variants spreading, we stand to completely lose the hard-earned ground we have gained.”

Worried about losing power of a flu with a 99.98% survivability rate.

Yeah I saw the same article because NC just allowed a small opening back

Fauchi warned and said NO!

Money talks and bullshite walks. They want theaters open for Top Gun2 Maverick by July. Then they will shut back down.

TBH I don't think I want to go to a theater again. With streaming everywhere it is nicer to rent for 20 bucks on PPV. Most people have home theaters of some kind making huge screen TVs cheap.

I can deal with Top Gun2 at home. The days are long gone of dropping kids off to a theater matinee.

No offense, but I don’t give a shite what your personal opinion is regarding the value of movie theaters.

It’s irrelevant.

Yeah, they're worried. Worried that when they roll back measures and cases don't surge, others will start to see the emperor's clothes and the Covid panicdemonium will end.

Under the assumption that we are discussing the CDC restrictions and future loosening of those restrictions, your opinion about theaters is irrelevant.

no offense

Their measures have not worked, masks don't work, and the "vaccine" may or may not work AND may cause problems down the road.

(The FLU "vaccine" at best, only works 50% of the time given to HEALTHY people 18 to 65 years old AND, only 50% of that population gets one).

People with an average I.Q. know the truth.

This is it... they have the spotlight and the power and they want to keep it... They all should be terminated... Some should be prosecuted for some of the shite they have pulled...

That's the squeal of coward, a creature.

She doesn't even have the courage to say what she thinks. If she had any strength, she would make an affirmative case.

She would say, if you remove these restrictions, x will happen. She'd stake her reputation on it.

Instead, in the most passive aggressive way, she's worried.
