It's pretty difficult to become a bishop in the Catholic Church and it ain't easy either. You're working pretty much all day for six days a week. You are required to say mass at least once a day, hear confessions, visit the sick and elderly who can't attend mass, pray for an hour or two a day, and be on call 24/7 to rush to someone's bedside to give last rites.

Not true diocesan clergy can have private possessions. Generally the church houses them, but they are allowed private property.
Priests that belong to an order like Benedictines, Franciscans, etc. take vows of poverty.

Its not. But man you could buy a whole bunch of trailers in San Felipe with a million.

Partially true. Diocesan priests do have some meager possessions (most of them) but all priests take a vow of poverty.
Most diocesan priests have a monthly stipend of around $1500. That’s not enough to accumulate much. I wasn’t trying to say diocesan priests have nothing just usually no real estate.
