How is this supposed to make them feel safe?

Having a firearm and knowing the proper way to handle them would make them feel safe in their homes. Preventing law abiding citizens from being able to purchase said firearms should make them feel unsafe. Now you gotta rely on the Mounties / wait for them to get there if something bad does happen.

What’s that saying… only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is having a good guy with a gun…

Again?

it was legal you just had to register a handgun.

he ruined even that. now it is just rifles with small magazines since any high ammo mags are banned.

oh and shotguns

i am sure anything resembling a AR, AK or ruger mini 14 are banned as well.

complete shitshow up there.

I hear the lakes in western Canada are shoaling due to the loss of firearms due to boating accidents

Would be a shame if guns moved north fast and furiously.

I mean Canada keep on voting him in , so clearly they wanted this law. At least you can see some resistance in the U.S , some mind you, but canda is completely all in for those type of things.

We had gone up to Canada to buy a toilet (their designs flush better than ours) and we were pulled aside in Windsor.

The agents asked my husband how many guns he owned. (they must have checked and found he had the state issued right to carry.) My husband responded, "Enough. Not that that is any of your business as none of them are with us." They searched our car and luggage anyway. I guess wives with rights to carry don't get their attention.

Your story is strange enough, and outrageous enough to be 100% believable!
Canadians are losing their rights quickly, and the US isn't far behind.

Fidel Trudeau should take a long look at Jamaica's total ban on fire arms. When it took place 30 years ago, their homicide rate was 25/100,000. Their homicide rate is now 44/100,000.

That's what happens when you disarm the good people.
