The efficiency of most power plants is around 40% the efficiency of most car/truck engines top 35% percent. There are many designs for more efficient motors that could have been in production if not for the luny toon lefts trying to be engineers.

I watch a lot of motorcycle reviews and keep up with that sort of stuff, and it seems that every manufacturer is coming up with either prototypes or trying to sell electric motorcycles, and it’s just not really catching on at all, but who could blame anyone for that. They are outrageously expensive, have horrific range before having to find a place to power up, and besides all that, who wants to hear the hum of electricity and feel absolutely no rumble of the motor when riding a motorcycle? That takes more than half of the fun out of the reason people ride.

I really don’t think you know the differences between a PIU and a civilian explorer.
But that’s ok.

I really think you don’t know what the frick you’re talking about. If you think a lifted speed limiter qualifies it as somehow tuned better than feel free to think it’s badass I guess. It doesn’t have some hot tune in it. It’s still the same baseline piece of shite ecm tune every ford gets.

Granted. I’ve only got 10k of driving miles in mine so far so maybe the magic will kick in and it will run electic at 55 MPH at some point.
It’s is pretty quick for a suv though but that’s from the turbos and larger displacement motor.
I really did forget how EV sensitive you were. Damn.

All normal hybrids almost never go into electric mode dumbass. That’s the entire fricking point of what I’m saying. They’re pieces of shite. The new PHEV are the ones that have real EV mileage and those are the same ones that the storage units, inverters, etc from BEV development.

I’ve had several Prius rental cars and you can’t command them into EV only mode for more than a few miles under a load.
