And I suspect we broadly agree about lockdowns and their effects, as there are very limited situations in which lockdowns can work, namely when the distribution of a pathogen is even and when there is a consistent pathognomonic sign or presentation. COVID didn't meet those conditions, and thus it made little sense to use a lockdown as a first-line strategy or even use lockdowns at all.

Admittedly, I can't claim to speak intelligently on your historical positions regarding the lock downs.

They make posts, but such posts get taken down. This is a very scared board.

Imagine being a scared, reactionary little moderator on this board.

It's like they're doing exactly what you claim progs & libs to be.

You should let it go. That tactic only makes people more dogmatic. Just hope they see the error of their thinking and let it go.

Let it go? Oh hell no.... the damage is done.

That has been my experience with your posting.

I believe we had a conversation a very long time ago (it was either you or David_DJS) where I stated that lockdowns were a poor strategy as were the piecemeal vaccination strategy. I've even argued that certain things, such as communication strategies designed to improve medication adherence, aren't the purview of physicians and shouldn't be. Hell, I realized as I was writing out the immunological principles behind certain decisions that communication wasn't my strength, as it isn't something I'm trained to do.

Moderator(s) take down relative posts by opposing viewpoints yet continually leave nonesensical guesses up for anyone to rally to.

Well the reality is that regardless of my personal feelings about lockdowns, I will get lumped in as supporting lockdowns by virtue of the profession. The effects of the lockdowns will be lifelong for doctors just entering the field, and I'll probably have to deal with it for a long time, despite whatever nuance with which I approached the subject personally.

Sweet SDV, you have to provide proof of a lie that I have stated.

Oh, so your claims that I lied are linked to what you think is a lie.

That makes sense now. You're a self-righteous maniac.
