It is just posturing. HE has offered daca several times before but with conditions that made the democrats howl.
Also it puts pressure on the dems as they are already losing some of their Hispanic base due to the BLM shite.

The wall is being built. I don't have a problem with this. I bet these kids are being raised better than the brats we see protesting.

I have no problem with anybody from anywhere being a citizen in this country as long as they earn it. If a child is brought here, gets older and decides to become a legal citizen, great. If you are over 18 and enter the country or reside in the country illegally, you're gone and never returning unless you complete legal immigration requirements. If you commit a felony as an illegal, you are imprisoned according to American sentencing guidelines, then whether it's in a year or in 50, you are immediately deported upon release.

There was a Thread not long ago, wherein a morally motivated Teacher decided to teach at a Minority (Black) school. Lasted 6 months, taking an arse kicking regularly. Finally split, to a majority Hispanic school; totally different, with those children trying to learn in order to join in on prosperity. Though there were problem kids (God only knows what happened to them in formative years).
Trump is right to win the loyalty of the honest Hispanic folk. That will nullify the Commie's current strategy of White v Black divide and conquer. God fearing Blacks will come into the fold as well, leaving the Marxist Revs isolated.
Hell, re the pure Socialist Ideologues...Trump is spending in the TRILLIONS already; with a gargantuan Infrastructure Bill waiting in the wings. If it ain't broke...why fix it.

3D chess by our stable genius GEOTUS. SCOTUS thought he'd go through the Administrative Procedures Act process to rescind. But that whole order was based on the fact that SCOTUS declared that a President can make something like DACA. That's BS but it is the law of the land now that they wrote the opinion. I predict Trump's new EO will have requirements like:
-No one with a criminal conviction can be a citizen
-Applicants must back pay taxes
-Recent illegals are not eligible
-End chain migration
-And other sensible things

why not do an EO on DACA, the left sue him on everything Im sure some 9th circuit judge would rule it illegal just because Trump signed it and that would end DACA.
