I think we understand this, but this wasn't the point of the video.
Did you watch the video? If not, all good.
Her point was that this guy doesn't need to be lifted up as some wonderful martyr.
I am upset at what the officer did. Nothing about the person's background can excuse a bad officer's actions. Especially fatal.
However, when I learned about the fact that he held a gun to a woman's pregnant stomach.. I lost any type of sadness for the man. I recognize people can get second chances, etc.. but I lose all respect for anyone who holds a gun on innocent people. I especially lose respect for a man holding a gun on an innocent woman with a baby.. That is devastating.. and she potentially has to live with that fear of what happened to her for the rest of her life.
That is so fricked up. No one deserves that either.
