WC does lose it's luster when teams bring in international ringers to try to be better.

two things:

1) canadian whites prefer to play hockey

2) outside of whites, canada is full of asians and indians so of course blacks will dominate a sport like soccer

Does that go for college and NFL coaches?

Exactly dgnx6.

It has nothing to do with diversity. You live in a country where grown men cheat their arses off to get some illegal hispanic kid on their child's pop warner team so they can win baseball games, men who pretend to be women, women who take roids to compete like men.

You think countries dont find and "fast track" immigration papers to get a playa on their world cup team???

The only thing this picture shows is why Canada hadn’t made a WC in 40 years

World Cup doesn’t mean shite after they continuously make it easier to deviate from it’s original intent. Putting a country name on a team is just marketing now.

“Support the USA team!”

“Uh, the goalie just got naturalized last week from Spain.”

“That doesn’t matter. Go USA!”

“Riiiiiight”

These two ideas cannot coexist. Herein lies the problem.

why wouldn’t there be more black people playing it?
My theory is that in order to get to the level of these guys' talent, you have to start young with better coaching and and better competition. To do that, you almost have to play select/travel soccer. It can get quite expensive (I have experience with that).

So a country has imported people of different backgrounds to offset their dwindling population and now said people are the majority of sports teams.
You've never been to Montreal I assume
You cannot go 1 Block without seeing a Sikh.
Western Canada is much like picture, Eastern Canada not so much.
Also it's sports if the best players were white they would be on the team.
Then add soccer has weird rules where if some one in your family was born in country A and you were born in country B you can go play in country A. The US has a guy that chose Germany over the US because his money was born in Germany.
