re: Can you love America and be a Globalist?

A one world government will never work in practice. The larger the organism the less a single cell matters. American ideals are ultimately empowerment of the individual. The USA is already too massive to sustain the ideals that this country was founded on. To accommodate governing 300 million people, singular individuals give way to "keeping the peace" between the vast number of people. I think this comparison is overused but the only way to have a one world government capable of sustaining itself (and not collapsing) is a 1984 society.

America first, everyone else second.
That’s all I care about. Label shite whatever you want as long as this is what happens.
frick Soros the Globalist.
frick NATO and Geneva.
And frick The Counsel on Foreign Relations and their vision of a one world government.
If it doesn’t benefit our economy, or at the very least not hurt us, then hell to the no.

No. Globalism means surrendering our hard-earned political and economic sovereignty. It is fueled by greed and worship of money. It means American jobs and industry gets sent overseas, and that undeserving foreigners benefit from American ingenuity and hard work. It's wealth redistribution.

You see this is why I hate certain terms in politics. If you define globalism as meaning that we have to be subservient to other countries needs then yes being a globalist makes you anti-American
But if like me you define globalism as all of the world becoming more interconnected in Reliance on each other both socially and economically then I'm all for it
Some people think saying America First is anti globalist but that's silly. Every leader in every nation should say their own variation of America first. British leader should say Great Britain first. French leaders should say France first
I have no heartache with other nations placing their needs ahead of ours and they should have no heartache with us doing the same
None of that is anti globalist.

Globalist seems to just be the preferred insult of Trump supporters who get tired of cuck being auto-corrected to cock on their smart devices.
When people throw it out it usually has no meaning

There you go again. Have you had an original thought since you returned to the board? For that matter have you ever had an original thought in your life?

Correct on both points
I don't see anything wrong with having national pride and I certainly don't see anything wrong with trading with other countries.

On the flip side there is such a thing as being "too nationalist" as well. It's one of my concerns with Trump. We don't need to try to move to a more isolationist economy with stupid shite like trade wars.
Leave that to dumb arse socialist dictators.

Which is why it's a little bit silly to use the term globalist as an insult as is often seen by the most devout Trump supporters
Hence my joke earlier that you took way too seriously

Given geopolitical realities, I'd prefer America led globalism rather than China. Globalization will occur whether we want it or not. Unless you can ensure that other countries won't take advantage of you, decentralization for it's own sake is a terrible idea, geopolitically.
And this is the problem ^^^^^^, the US literally cut its economic balls off and our future security when our government and corporate lobbyists decided it was a good idea to modernize China's economy to make a few short sighted bucks. Why would any superpower create another superpower? We could have brought China along at a slow and metered pace but we decided to share high tech manufacturing and industrial technologies with a communist country that is now capable of producing advanced electronics, composite materials, metals, etc. The corporate Globalists consider themselves citizens of the world and can live wherever they want so if America becomes a shithole because of short sighted Swamp policy they can just locate themselves anywhere in the world they desire, the Hollywood elites have the same beliefs.

So how does the world come together as a global society if it's cool for every country to put THEIR needs first. Some country has to be willing to sacrifice for the good of the rest. How is that reconciled?
I'm not picking a side, so to say, in this, just stimulating discussion.
