This in a nutshell. Yes there are other blue areas. Hell Athens is for crying out loud but its a college town.
However, Atlanta is its own thing. Remove it and it's a no brainer. Hollywood bent this state over. Sad but true.

This is true of almost every state. Eliminate Dallas and Austin and it's no longer turning blue. Eliminate NYC and NY state is red.
I don't know what to do with this information, but whatever dynamic it is about cities that causes liberalism to congregate should be addressed.

Im not sure what it is about cities that make them liberal shitholes. Im not even being facetious. I really don't understand it. Any place can be conservative or liberal technically, but cities tend to pull in liberals.
