Can we get the stats on police killings in America

TLdr: Whites shot the most. Quite a bit more. The issue with blacks is that while 13% population they are overpresented in police shootings BUT people tend to leave out that blacks commit half the violent crime in the US. Pesky stats and all.

This means nothing without context. The whole number or percentage of blacks "killed by police" means absolutely nothing. What matters is if the shootings were justified or not. If 100% of the blacks killed by police were shooting at the officers, the killings were justified, regardless of how many there were.

While blacks absolutely do commit more crime in the US...…...I wish people would just read my darned thread and realize that it isn't relevant to the discussion for 2 reasons.
1. Once you realize my thread is correct, you realize the base accusation that blacks are "over represented in police violence" is false
2. #1 actually tends to impact the question of crime by race also.

When you ask for ANY stat, you have to state what question you hope the stat will answer.
ANY request for stats on this subject that looks at NATIONAL numbers doesn't answer jack shite because people and cops are not distributed evenly in the nation.
National stats on this subject are about as informative regarding groups of people as national stats on shark attacks.

But, like my thread from a day or two ago.
The problem will NEVER be solved as long as
1. The statistics put forth are utter bullshite
2. It is sold as a black problem instead of a police violence problem.
I want this shite solved as much as anyone alive. It just ain't gonna be until those two items are fixed...…..and...……...they're NEVER going to get fixed.

Sometimes a person is just a piece of shite. I think people can recognize that the cop is a piece of shite and the guy should not have been killed, while not making it a racial issue.
