No.
The decisive battle is about to begin.
The senate can stop all of Trumps appointments if they choose.
They won’t but they will fight the ones that matter.
They will die before they allow Matt G
To be AG.
We are about to find out that the swamp is alive and well inside the Rep Party.
If Trump finds a way to Get Matt in I will be shocked. Gloriously Happy, but shocked
The fact is that none of us know what discussions, compromises, or ultimatums are going on behind closed doors.
Trump understands the game this time and he has support and resources he didn't have the first term.
I'll keep saying this also, why would anyone doubt Trump at this point??????

Bypass the entire process by appointing proxies to carry out his intent as Chief Executive.

but at some point over the next 4 years... he's going to need the Senate to pass actual legislation. And if he forces them into recess and then makes recess appointments for all of his cabinet... they won't work with him. At all. "Well, they'll get primaried then." Yeah... in 2 years some of them may. But that's 2 years.
Which is why past recess appointments don't seem to have been made very often in the first year of a term and don't include department heads. It is burning a bridge that doesn't really have to be burned.

Yep, if they disagree they will be primaried.

I would bet DT gets what he wants a lot faster than on a Tiger win tomorrow.

True. It's like some people want to see Trump piss people off just to piss them off. And I completely get that. BUT... at some point.. he's got to actually govern. And, like it or not, he WILL need the Senate for that. They have the purse strings.
Just because you CAN do something.. doesn't mean you SHOULD do it.

I hope this blows up on them. Congress used tax payer dollars to pay hush money to their victims.

I mean... he can do it... but it would be disastrous were he to do it. Some of you don't care about that.. "My boy Trump won and can now do damn well as he pleases and nobody can get in his way." Well, that certainly is true... but at some point over the next 4 years... he's going to need the Senate to pass actual legislation. And if he forces them into recess and then makes recess appointments for all of his cabinet... they won't work with him. At all. "Well, they'll get primaried then." The alternative is to give in and put in establishment-approved stooges who will guarantee the status quo doesn't change and Trump is impeded at every turn. Do you remember the first term? If Trump gives in now, then he will only be able to pass establishment-approved legislation, so it won't matter. Trump has to show that he is the boss. This is the only way change will come.
At least with this method, there is a chance. Your method ensures Trump's term is wasted and DC continues on as usual. There is no guarantee the Senate will work with Trump if he gives in and tanks his administration for them anyways. Let's roll the dice and try to make the country great.
Some of you are really struggling with letting the old, corrupt system go.

The gop has a chance to be groundbreaking the next two years - they are control and bought by special interest and won’t. I hope Elon blackmails them all and forces them into submission
