She is absolutely the perfect candidate for them.
The problem is, she’s really the worst of all worlds for them from a “retail politician” standpoint.
Obama was a true believer, who was slick enough to be able to sell himself as a “moderate everyman” to just enough people.
Biden, on the other hand, brought enough “moderate everyman” credentials to the table, with enough willing greediness coupled with dwindling abilities, such that he would easily go along with whatever the the true believers wanted, while still carrying the needed appeal.
Even with all the leftward shifts, the Democrats simply can’t win without a healthy voting contingent of the “moderate everyman.” Kamala has no sense of such appeal, and certainly no ability to even feign kinship with such a voter. Hillary could at least understand it better than her (likely by virtue of her spouse), but she couldn’t pull it off. Kamala simply doesn’t get it at all.

Listening to her is like listening to a Les Miles press conference. When it’s over, you’re left wondering what was said.

This is a really insightful post and I agree with most of what you say.
What scares me is that the electorate no longer cares like they did at one point, or perhaps the news controls their thoughts so well that they don't have anythign to care about.
When we hear that 1/3 of democrats thought the assasination of President Trump was staged, it's because the news has programmed them to believe this.
That same 1/3 (or much greater) sees a woman of color running for president and the news says "this good must vote for her", so they do it automatically without any critical thought to her policies and track record. And her track record is truly awful. Last place in the prior primary. Utter failure as the border czar (or success depending on who you ask). Massive incarceration rates for minority men for minor crimes. Far left policies. Harris is not a good politician by any standard, left, right, or center.
Trump had this election locked down until Biden stepped aside. Now I'm worried.
