According to the Climate Central report, roughly 385 million people currently live on land that will eventually be inundated by high tide, even if greenhouse gas emissions are reduced.
If warming is limited to 1.5 degrees, sea level rise would affect land inhabited by 510 million people today.
If the planet reaches 3 degrees, the high-tide line could encroach above land where more than 800 million people live, the study finds.

If the coastal elites were so smart or worried, they’d move inland …. Right?

I remember watching these post apocalyptic videos in Elementary school in the 80s about how we will run out of water by 2000. It was in library class and she was a Uber lib.

Have they not seen Waterworld? White people can swim and we have gills too.

These vaccines will aid in gill growth.

So, do I have days, weeks, months or years before I have to move off the island.

I remember when using aerosols was going to cause another Ice Age.
Maybe we should start using aerosols again to combat Global Warming.
Oops, my bad, it is now Global Climate change. If you aren't hitting your marks just move the goalposts.

This shite is always so funny to me. Even if the ocean was to rise, it would take thousands of years for that to take effect. Call me crazy, but 500 million people would probably move before they're underwater wondering what happened to their houses

liberals who push this are on the same intellectual plane as people who believe:
"on the next episode of Secrets Revealed: Apocalypse World...newly discovered mayan calendars predict the end of the world on 12/02/2021. it's a palindrome, so it's true."

I don't see anywhere in the article that shows the ice caps grew by a shitload last year.
Why not provide all data?
Why not provide all data?

It’s not going to rise because Antarctica is gaining ice overall

That was CFC's and the ozone layer that had a big hole in it and was going to cause like 5th degree burns for anyone caught in the direct sunlight allowed in through the hole...

So, it is going to happen regardless of what we do?

Shouldn't the price of ocean front / gulf front property be declining significantly then?
