The black panther party showed up at several voting precincts with baseball bats to intimidate maybe in the 2012 election.

It was 2008. And as far as I know, it was one precinct outside of Philly.

Obama's attorney general , holder, said they did not mean to prosecute after being found guilty

All the cases were dismissed, with the exception of the ringleader, whose punishment was an injunction preventing him from further voter intimidation in the future.

i dont think it's necessarily suppresion but i do think a lot more people would vote if it was a national holiday. I see no reason it couldn't be.

With the holiday, it would seem early voting would no longer be necessary.

My Grandfather was not allowed, that I am aware of, to vote in the last election.

Yep. Even with weeks of early voting and legit opportunity to ask for absentee ballot, the geniuses wait until Election Day at 5pm to go vote.

So bring your kids to stand in line to vote day? Why don’t people just stop and vote one of the many many days available? I literally just pop in when it’s convenient.

I honestly believe the Left have been stealing votes for so long that they believe that it is their inherent right to continue operating as they always have.

Yeah, the highest turnout of all time last year. The democrats realized they could get every single eleven they want if they control the rules.

We need to pull this in our the Republicans need to play ball.

These Haitians were not allowed to vote in person, but because of a thoughtful mail in vote was available they were all able to vote 3-4 times.

But oppressed and suppressed they were.

After Hurricane Laura, I had to drive an extra .1 mile to a new voting location and they were out of fried chicken. I was devastated.

Good idea. It’ll be like the thugs that call a truce on violence on MLK Day. Oh, wait...

They want mail in votes because they can come up with votes. Going to vote the right way would be plenty time for everyone to vote once. But you can turn in more thru the post office. And when the dems scream about people still in line at closing time, remember those voting and stuck in line is because liberals are running the show.

First one.

Second one

Third one

Fourth one.

If you believe voter suppression only includes a flat prohibition on voting then these links won't mean anything to you. I believe voter suppression also includes obstacles in poor neighborhoods and Black neighborhoods, like closing polling places and restricting voting days and hours.
