Starting from 1900 is fine.

The R value.

CO2 is released from melting ice, which is caused by elevated temperatures. CO2 does not cause the temperature rise that melts the ice, that has already happened before the CO2 is released into the atmosphere.

and not the R value of multiple simulation runs. I want the r-square of the multi variant analysis with temperature as the dependent variable.

Bill Nye The Science Guy will need at least 24hrs to make the pertinent calculations.

Based on a whole lot of ice cores covering thousands of years, CO2 lags behind temperature change by quite a bit. It is the result not the driver.

It is the tail that wags the dog.

Well, according to LA's science thread, we have some CO2 experts here.

They won't post in this thread, however.

You see, they are far superior to you in intelligence, and you would never understand.

So what's the point of even answering?

Some things I learned from watching Science shows with my kids. Don’t know how accurate, but pretty sure my summation is close.

Scientists don’t know the actual correlation between climate change and CO2.

Climate change is a natural occurrence that slowly happens over millions of years.

What scientists have observed is that the amount of CO2 is increasing faster in the atmosphere than what “they believe” it should. CO2 stays in the atmosphere over 50 years(usually more) before it has any affect on the surface. We don't know how or what we do now effects the climate for at least 50 years.

They believe humans are the factor in the rapid increase of CO2 in the atmosphere.

They said what could help slow down the process was to increase the amount of plankton. Plankton would use more CO2 and release more oxygen. Plankton produces more oxygen than any other source.

obviously this doesn’t exist. the bottom line is the climate models are total crap.

may be crap but with another 50 bill per year we could study it and produce a questionable answer

well, the world population has doubled in the last 60 years, common sense would suggest, yeah there is some impact on the globe...

million of years of climate change has given us oil...I think we're suppose to burn it

years

why does man think he need to prevent change?

just protect the water and air the best you can and live life

simple as that...
