A few days ago he told a bunch of BLM protesters in South Bend, as he was explaining why he wasn’t responsible for a police shooting in the city he runs, and the crowd got a little testy bc he was running for POTUS instead of addressing the situation. He was smacked with one of the protesters wondering aloud how he could expect people to vote for him for POTUS if he wasn’t addressing the concerns of his existing constituency. His inexplicable response:
“I’m not asking for your vote.”
Response of protester: “well you won’t get it.”
He’s done. Stick a fork in him.

PS If this is how he treats constituents that are supposed to be part of the D Base, imagine how he’ll treat those of us who are not. frick Him.

To be fair, there idiot ran towards a cop with a knife, allegedly. There is no body cam or car recording of the encounter.
However I'm assuming the dead guy had a knife near him and am at this point believing the officer.
Two quick thoughts.
1. I think Democrats should read what they sow. And they have sowed identity politics at every chance. However, in this case I do feel a little bad for the guy because the dead guy appears to have deserved what he got.
2. Why the heck does BLM and other people seem to get a all excited about supporting people that deserved to get killed? There has to be better examples to support than people like this. But for some reason they get all excited over this piece of crap or the gentle giant from Ferguson. Why is that?

It doesn’t appear that the shooting is his fault. it looks like the officer engaged in self defense.
But a part of his constituency believes that this is a genuine issue in police forces, in south bend and around the country. These are people he not only wants but needs to vote for him.
He runs south bend and supervises the police force. If the police did something wrong, then the buck should stop with him. If they didn’t, he certainly is wrong for dismissing the concerns of his electorate. It doesn’t mean he had to make excuses for the dead guy who charged the cop; being a leader means being accountable for the policies you have in place and responding to the people you represent. A leader would have told those people - we are conducting a full investigation but from what we know now, the cop acted in self defense.

There are around a million law enforcement officers in the US.
There are never more than a couple of these high profile BLM cases a year (and that includes the ones where they are just desperate to stir up shite). Maybe it isn't such an "epidemic" after all.

When has that ever mattered? Black eyewitnesses at the Grand Jury in Ferguson corroborated the police officer's story, but it didn't keep the stupid bastards from erecting a monument in honor of Michael Brown.
