How can you survive being homeless in Alaska ??
Predominantly natives from villages who go to the cities for a period of time. They have a home in the village, but not in the city
We have a shitload of services here, and the native villages send their trouble makers here on the ferry.
Many villages are also dry, so they fly to the city for booze, stay in a shelter.

I think I would rather be homeless in Hawaii than to actually have a domicile in some states. Perfect weather year round. Beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see. Just get one of those big "glamping" tents and set it up on a nice grassy area near a pristine beach. Then hang a sign up that says: "homeless and it's Trump's fault". The bleeding heart libs out there would line up to wash my feet and buy me food and clothes.
As a token of my appreciation I would even have the common courtesy not to drop a deuce on the public sidewalk, which is something the entitled bums in California can't even be bothered to avoid.

I would say it has more to do with all the free shite some states give away and law enforcement policy. In big cities the homeless get ignored while out in the sticks they get carried to the county/parish line and told to GTFO.
Being homeless in bumfrick MS or LA can not be an exactly pleasant experience thankfully, so we get to export or homeless to the liberal utopias and let them pay the bill, win win in my book.

No doubt. 7-8 months of the biggest, hungriest mosquitoes around. Still not enough to get me to California.

DC leading the pack by a huge margin.
ETA: And is a night in January really the best time to be taking a count of the homelss? That number is going to be higher in more temperate months.

There is a govt program that pays for a flight to HI for homeless people bc it has the mildest climate.
They get free health care there as well. HI has had Obamacare-like policies well before Obamacare.
If the homeless person doesn't like it, the govt pays to fly them back.

Also my rough math puts California at ~130,500 homeless people, New York at ~86,000 homeless people. Jesus Christ

Read an article not too long ago which stated half of the homeless people in the U.S. now reside in CA.

Don't forget, the media repeated CONSTANTLY the lie that there were "3,000,000" homeless in the 1980's.
They have been promulgating preposterous bullshite for decades, do not start with Trump.

You would be 100% in line with what the local homeless do. Outside of Waikiki beach and other tourist traps, the beaches are positively lined with tents nudged between the beach and the parks. Hell, even the capitol lawn has mattresses thrown on it. Hawaii has a huge homeless problem.

Was stationed in Anchorage for 3 years. It was nothing to see many natives passed out downtown.

Only 7 in Louisiana. That's not too bad but at least 4 of the 7 live in Houma.

That map is a good example of correlation does not equal causation.
Most liberals support marijuana legalization. Most liberals also support insane socialist policies that attract homeless people.
Marijuana legalization is not causing a homeless problem. But I'm sure it's attractive to the homeless.

Austin called in to say it is working on that oversight.
