Slater is a contract lobbyist- Anheuser Busch is one of 70 clients that Slater has - in fact, the headline could also be written “City of Ocala lobbyist is Mega Fundraiser for DeSantis Campaign”
And yeah, Slater was a bundler for ¡Jeb! but he also was an aide for Jeb back in the later 90s before he became a lobbyist so- that makes sense

You really don’t even need to be a mega donor or bundler for Trump to have him do your bidding.
A few compliments to him is about all it usually takes.
