I dont think you need to see an episode of anything to know international drug trafficking is a pretty big absolute zero.
Just because California lets you toke up doesnt mean anything.

I agree. I did hear an interesting take of "why" she may have though. Perhaps vaping THC is popular there, so she wanted to bring some of her favorites from here to share with people to sample.
Obviously she FAFO, but that's a reasonable reason I could see. Obviously it depends on much she had.

Was it against Russian law? Yes.
I suggest learning the laws that apply to where you are traveling for work or pleasure. You take some personal responsibility and you don’t end up locked up abroad.
