Today those who follow religion consider the SBC to be strongly pro-life. But two years before Roe the Messengers (delegates) to the Annual Meeting (convention) passed a strongly pro-choice resolution (that's how they speak on matters). And again the year after Roe. Not until 1980 (shortly after conservatives started taking over) did they pass a pro-life resolution, and have consistently done so ever since.

Colorado (as already mentioned) should be added to the blue column. So should New Mexico.

OTOH Florida passed a bill similar to Mississippi's 15-week ban. So they should be added to the red column.

(And has anyone noticed the irony that the states colored red -- the color of blood -- would actually reduce the amount of blood shed?)
