CNN tried to pull a gotcha on Rubio that blew up in their faces when they claimed 4 American-born children were deported without due process. Rubio immediately corrected the lie, explaining due process in this context and explaining that illegal parents who have a deportation order have chosen to bring their US citizen children with them back to their home country. He also accurately pointed out that if the State Department forced the children to stay, CNN would be hammering him for family separation - which is 100% accurate.
