Admiralty Law is just a name. Lloyds is just a building not an actual insurance company. International UN conventions are the law at sea.
What happened were you shrimping at night in the fog in the Calcasieu ship channel and a ship sank your boat not seeing you. At court you left the courtroom after the P&I Club attorney asks for your IRS tax returns as proof of lost income?
BTW, this shrimping with butterfly nets out against the outgoing tide in the fog and being run over by a ship which cannot stop on a dime does happen. It used to be annual fall event.

I’ve been trying to figure out wtf this post was about … until I read another post claiming that “the gold trim on the United States flag signifies that one is under maritime law and therefore can be deprived of their civilian rights.”
I know crazy conspiracy theories can be fun, but some of you really need to pull your head out of your arse.

Nothing in those ceremonies happens by accident- not these flags and not the specific salute that they performed at Biden’s “inauguration.” Clues for those who know what to look for.
Now, back to the memes…

I bet the aircraft pressurization miraculously cures them all.
When they all miraculously walk off the plane without the chairs has a common saying now in the airline industry because it happens so much:
"They were healed by Jetway Jesus."

It was Larry Niven, but that's still a brilliant observation.
I never understood why the Pak didn't create a real ecosystem to support the breeders.
It's been a few decades since I read those books, might have to revisit.

There has also been the idea that London/Lloyds of London controls all shipping by people who don't know shiite from shinola. The P&I Clubs (maritime insurance) are owned by the ship owners who pay the premiums. How percentage of international trade is on US ships will answer the question of why the US had next to no say. Historically, chartering a ship was done in London, whether a voyage charter or time charter. There has never been a reason to change this. Goobers think that this was all about British Admiralty controlling things
