The 2003 strike which stopped the flow of oil out of Venezuela and almost caused 11 very major refineries in the US to shutdown. This was by white collar workers at PDVSA protesting no money allowed for maintenance. Chavez replaced them 3:1 with his supporters who didn't know shiite from shinola and now its cash cow is in ruins.
