Would she win?

As other Georgia residents on here have said she has no chance. I don't think she would even get as many votes as Herschel did. Beyond Kemp the candidates are very weak and likely won't be able to unseat an incumbent.

If GA Republicans could quickly coalesce around someone Trump could support but who isn't gimmicky/fake like Vernon or Herschel, we'd probably field a viable candidate.

The only person that immediately comes to mind who is already familiar in recent cycles is Latham Sadler, who might have gotten Trump's endorsement in 2022 but for Trump handpicking HW. 10% in the primary isn't a lot, but Trump's support would immediately make him at least viable. After that it's probably up to him to court the Kemp-only vote. Sadler is at least a serious guy with a serious resume.

But you're probably going to end up with some establishment washed up GA pols and then Trump picking some over the top type and we'll be screwed.

The fact that Walker forced a runoff was a miracle.

The overstating of MTG's popularity on both sides is comical.

Tommy Tuberville should move from Fla to Ga, step down as Senator from Al and run in Ga. A yeller dog could win as a R in Bama.

So who is it that's casting fricking votes in the Senate?

I never said it wasn't Ossoff. I said he didn't legitimately win in 2020 and he sure as shite didn't win the runoff on Jan 5, 2021.

None of those things preclude his cosplaying as Senator by virtue of being illegitimately installed in the position.

Stuck in Rachel Maddow Didn't Tell Me So It Can't Possibly Be True Land, I see.

That's a lazy take. He had nothing to do with the people moving in from blue states and how the nation of Atlanta votes. Atlanta isn't Florida.

The fact this good ole boy republican's popularity is so high with all of these blue voters speaks to his abilities. He's no RINO and we should be thankful we have him as a governor.

Finish out his governorship and run against Warnock in 2028. That will be a much easier Senate seat to win.

How is running against a black (fake) preacher easier than running against a jewish pencil neck nerd in Georgia?
