I'm starting to think you might be a terrorist. You sure do know a lot about them.

I don't think there's much more to what I'm saying then I just hate when we stop the convo altogether saying "ban knives" and just go in circles with a serious issue. I'm on your side at the end of the day I just think trying to understand why they can't get ahold of some things when they want is important. Reasonable and rational discourse is important.

Some guy wishing I died in a terrorist attack isn't important, but easy to ignore.

It's laughable how some here really think gun-control laws prevent these terrorists from getting firearms if they wanted them. They do not. Trucks are used because it is a tactic suggested in the literature of these radicallized groups instead of firearms. Even in the US this tactic is promoted. Some of you are simply uneducated, not surprising.

You're more than welcome to join the debate rather than just calling me a terrorist lol.

My theory is that they will use anything they can that does the most damage within their means to obtain it

So if you wanna start at the top we can, they would most want a super death ray that annihilates the earth. Prolly won't get that though.

It's easy not to resort to that when you can communicate properly. Agree or not. Nice banter. on to some other topics now lol.

If prayers could stop terrorists they would have already been stopped.

Hint: Bullets stop them. You're only issue is whether it comes from a govt person or a civilian.

If Europe had as many guns as the USA would there be less, more or the same gun violence from radical Islam?

That's the bottom question I'm getting at. If you think it's less or the same then okay we just disagree, I completely respect your opinion.

My point is that them having to use trucks is gun control working even at the smallest level.

Only if you define "working" to suit your agenda.

Because as we've established, they would much rather use guns than trying to ram people with a truck.

That's speculation on your part, and I'd guess based on limited or no experience.

Like I said, the issue lies within the people wielding these items, I'm not arguing that.

Then why do you you seem to be think gun control is effective, or even worth it if it is?

I think Europe jumping to USA standards of gun control would be disastrous. I think we're fine the way we are and don't need any more regulation.

I disagree. The goal is to educate people. We can't do that if we ignore the most basic concepts. I'm not saying it should be a focal point, but it needs addressed occasionally, and to both sides.

You aren't going to convince anyone to your (our) side by ignoring the differences or failing to properly articulate your points.

Words matter, particularly in this debate.

How about guy in the Lourve, probably would have preferred a gun. That's an assumption I just always assume they want the most damaging weapon. If you think that's the wrong assumption or that he could have easily obtained a gun then that's fine like I said it's a discussion I'm not trying to yell or advocate gun control
