A simple question for those who want gun bans.

How many people were shot in Chicago last year?

Doesn't Chicago have "gun bans?"

What has gun control done to help the attacks outside of the US?

Not an assault-rifle. Try again or just accept you don't know what you're taking about.

The distinction between an "assault rifle" and any other rifle is not salient to the 2nd amendment. Don't cuck yourself by playing games with words here. They should all be legal, even if they pew pew faster than other guns.

When someone says "ban trucks" it makes the argument that gun control is working to some degree.

No, it doesn't. Quite the opposite, actually.

Historically, hand guns were used. But more recently, it's been semi autos. It just depends on what you're looking at.

I don't give a frick what political affiliation the dude has. He has a point. Hypocrisy is something I guess we'll have to get used to. From him and the knee pad lemmings.

It's just as intellectually honest to ask how many lives has banning drugs saved. While the numbers are impossible to get because it's an assumption, it's reasonable to say less than what they would be if they were readily available. It's kind of impossible to answer that, but you knew that when you wrote it.

I'm assuming it means the murder was carried out by a firearm but it didn't stat if it was a rifle, shotgun, or pistol.

It's relevant though. Why should anyone take someone's views seriously when they can't even be bothered to educate themselves on the basic terminology of the topic.

This type of talk stems from ignorance and fear mongering. It should be adamantly and absolutely opposed.

CNN updated to put "this is not a terrorist related attack" on the top of their column. They did add that "the FBI is assisting the sheriffs department".

Still the only one not mentioning that the FBI joint terrorism task force is on site.

Yes it does, they're having to use trucks because they can't get guns. 0 out of 10 times would they prefer to ram people and not shoot into a crowd. You pretty much KNOW that.

Trucks weren't made to kill, guns were (protection, game, etc).

They're having to improvise for a reason, this certainly isn't taking away from the fact that the fundamental issue is within Islam not gun control.

What in the world does this mean?

Are you saying that single action revolvers were the choice of weapons historically in mass shootings?

Then explain the point

I completely get that it's saying people will use anything to hurt so why are we banning guns.

If there's more of a point then explain, if not then you're missing my point
