15.00equals 600.00 a week, that really doesn't provide a lot of over priced goods .

A minimum wage job isn’t supposed to be a career job.

And if I’m paying my minimum wage employees $15/hr, who is going to buy my $8 hamburgers? Nobody.

I’ll automate my restaurant, keep prices low, and have zero overhead. Problem solved.

Sure it will hurt, not doubt. I just don't understand their reasoning if the know that it increases costs to the very people it supposedly "helps". If they know and understand this, then I would say it is morally deficient for them to push for i

It’s like everything democrats and some republicans run for office on , they don’t care to actually fix the issue they are just fishing for voters. They know that most people making minimum wage are not smart enough to know that everyone’s pay would go and they would be in the same spot they are now .

how much would it cost you to automate. hamburgers at non fast food are already 8.00 or higher so that doesn't hold water.

What it means is that there is an appropriate balance of regulation and cost. Making cars have seatbelts is a regulatory burden that increases the cost of cars. The safety increase validates the cost. Regulations which mandate mine safety increase cost.

So what’s the point?

I still don't know why the gov doesn't require helmets in cars.
You can see and hear just fine with the right helmet and save hundreds of lives with minimal cost.

Honest question. What fast food restaurant do you go to for an $8 hamburger?

Already seen the pictures of the automated counters, and projections for numbers of automated restaurants.

These are the kiosks that will initially replace 2500 cashiers:

While I normally don't care for generalizations, I have become fully convinced that ALL of you people are goddamn imbeciles. There is no other explanation.

Yes, this makes sense. My point is that any leftist who claims to be pro-worker should be applauding these tariffs. It’s an additional cost, but it promotes maintaining a workforce and facilities in America.

A dollar does not represent a certain percentage of a consumer good. A dollar (any currency) represents a unit of work. Arbitrarily changing everyone's pay, does not make anyone richer or better off.

Regardless of you pay rate. Raising the pay doesn't affect the amount of work that you did.

ex. If everyone got a pay raise so that everyone made a million dollars an hour then the cost of doing business would go way up and a coke would now cost a million dollars. Nobody would have gained shite.

Now if you only raise the pay of 1% of the population, then they would be better off. And a coke would not cost a million dollars. It would end up costing $10,000.

This would screw everyone elses lives up and destroy the entire economy.

Extreme example but the principle still applies with smaller hikes in the minimium wage.

This minimum wage is not designed to help. It is a tool force the USA into system the yields socialist results.
