BREAKING: Daniel Penny found NOT GUILTY
It's a travesty of justice that he was ever on trial at all.

Don't look now, Pastor Ben, but a lot of people are tired of the bad guys being the victims these days.

There is no way he should've been changed.
They just cost the system millions of dollars for a dog and pony show.

quote:a guilty verdict would have made the civil case much easier as you've already have proven guilt at a higher standing than civil. So its infinitely better on all fronts
I asked earlier in the thread. What does this verdict do to the civil case?

Trump should invite him to the State of the Union speech.

Will the scumbags file a civil suit against him now?

What a dirtbag of an attorney to take this on as well.
Civil could be harder. He hopes he doesn't get an activist judge that will side with a black family without due course.
He also has to hope he gets one that isn't afraid of fallout from the left. And this is NY. So that last bit is actually very important.
If it goes against him in court, he can try to appeal the decision.
However. NY appeals courts/district is also left leaning. And the state loves to try to destroy those who stand up to criminals.
The criminal case is a great tool for him to fight the civil case. But I hate to say I'd be surprised if it's not enough to overcome the circus in that district.

I love this. This is what our country needs and it scares the SHIOT out of those who wish to cause fear. Stand your ground and the knuckleheads move on or their relatives and friends wish they had.

His homeless looking dad already did file a civil lawsuit
He was with the race hustlers calling for violence

Does he have a fund set up for legal fees? Wouldn't mind showing my support for such a "lawfare" move on the part of NYC. Wouldn't cast a shadow in the city for anything.

And this hustler.
But Sharpton said after Monday’s verdict that Neely’s family was “denied justice.”
“This verdict represents the blatant legalization of civilian vigilantism, sending a dangerous message that citizens can now take matters into their own hands, even if it leads to someone’s death,” said Sharpton. “That is a threat to all of us. We fought this 40 years ago with Goetz, we fought it when Eric Garner was killed, and we will continue to fight it today.”
While Penny smiled as the verdict was read on Monday and some applauded, Neely’s father, Andre Zachary, shouted expletives. Zachary has filed a civil suit accusing Penny of negligence, assault and battery.

A civil trial would be a waste of time since Penny is probably not rich and has few assets to seize. He could file for bankruptcy as well. No ordinary attorney would take the case. However…….
