You know, Nick could be in any DSA controlled major US city and the only thing that is different in Brazil is the language. The Lula celebrations in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro could easily be in NYC or LA if the DSA were to gain full control of the US.

95% of the people interviewed either want socialism or communism. What's interesting, it's the same people (atheists, LGBTQ.....XYZ@#!, Antifa, etc.) in Brazil who are supporting and encouraging the CCP political and economic model in Brazil just like in the US. One dude went as far to infer that China's political and economic model is far superior to the US, saying it only took China 80 years to challenge the US globally. I don't think that dude understands if not for the US Corpratocracy selling out the American people, China would still be closer to a 3rd world nation vs a global super power. I know one thing, the Brazilians who are celebrating in Brazil do not like Bolsonaro and his brand of Christianity, it's fascist, homophobic and misogynistic......but they sure love China and Cuba.
