The Boy Scouts of America is the only group which gives the Catholic Church a run for its money for attracting sexual predators and then covering up the abuse for decades.

As an un-molested Eagle Scout, that was given the opportunity to hike the peaks of the Appalachian Trail, to canoe the frigid waters of the Nantahala River, and to steal beer from the Junior League's break room during service projects, I find this disappointing.

I would say this organization needs to be dismantled because the only Gay Rights Stance they held dearly onto was their acceptance of allowing Male Adults Pedophiles to prey on young boys.

If the abuse isn't reported in a school and the administrators know about it they all go to jail. The Boy Scouts of America do not have such a law on the books which is why they have covered this stuff for decades and continue to cover it up.

The same law that covers teachers and knowing about abuse but doing nothing applies to boy scout leaders also.
The fact that it's hard to prove people knew about a thing doesn't change the law.
