Bovino has become increasingly critical of the Department of Homeland Security and the Trump Administration’s handling of the mass deportation promises made on the campaign trail, especially in light of the insurrection at the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey.
“I don’t know who’s holding these guys back, but basic riot control starts with gas. This should’ve been over in 15 minutes. We’re now on day three,” Bovino said last week in response to rioters obstructing traffic and clashing with ICE, while blasting Secretary Mullin as weak.
“Secretary Mullin’s inaction is putting his own agents, the facility, and the detained aliens at risk. Hesitation isn’t compassion — it’s dangerous weakness,” he said.
While speaking to The Gateway Pundit recently, Bovino slammed Markwayne Mullin, Tom Homan, and “most especially” Rodney Scott as “disastrous.”
“How has no one shown up for them in NJ? Who’s leading there? There’s no one in those chaotic crowds leading,” he said.
“Just WILLY NILLY doing the best they can. Poor agents hanging right out to dry while Mullin bounces a ball at DHS HQ and telephones about state and locals.”
Meanwhile, the clashes between rioters and law enforcement at of the ICE facility in New Jersey have continued since May 22, with leftwing terrorists violently assaulting federal agents.

When will our politicians learn that you don't try and appease the left? You need to go full throttle and quit being such cowards.
They are afraid of optics? el oh el. GOP will always be hated by the left. Trump could step down tomorrow and usher in Al Shitstain as POTUS and the left would still hate him.

Bovino has a point. Mullins is letting the NJ shite get out of hand.

Ehhhh I like Homan, so if Bovino is slamming him too, I gotta side with Mullins/homan.

When you hire a GOPe Mitch acolyte you can’t be surprised when they do GOPe milquetoast things.
The GOPe doesn’t want mass deportation. It’s that simple because it’s bad for their donors bottom line by increasing menial labor costs.
This guy was a bad hire and anyone who pays attention to the senate knew he was going to obfuscate and do nothing from the jump.

The dude got canned for doing his job. Albeit, I really think he was canned just to appease the Dems and leftists in Minnesota after those morons Renee Good and Alex Peretti FA and FO by attacking federal law enforcement agents. I didn't like when Bovino was removed but kind of understood it to bring down the tension with the powderkeg about to explode in Minneapolis. I'd personally like to see these agitators and rioters getting their heads cracked on the reg, but I'm not an elected official trying to keep things from escalating.
I mean, you see how the media talks about ICE since then... As if they were randomly and without cause, "murdering Amercian citizens."
The libs latched on to criminalizing Bovino as the face of that with ICE.
I also understand why he would be pissed about it.

After he was demoted... and removed from his position. So, technically, yes. He wasn't fired, but they demoted him, sent him back to El Centro (Yikes) and basically forced him out... or at least made retirement a much more attractive option than continuing on.
