The things we let ourselves be bothered over. Everybody just needs to sit back and smoke a bowl and relax, talk, and laugh.
Now, I want you to try to understand why some black people are upset about the statues. Personally, as a black person, I’m not. The battle flag, the statues, they don’t trigger me. But for many, they do. And having a statue of, let’s call a spade a spade, a traitor who fought a war and lost, on the state capital grounds is absurd. Let’s move these statues to museums, to statue gardens, etc where they can be displayed for the history that they are, without sitting on the capital grounds for fricks sake, as a symbol of America’s darkest times(both slavery and the civil war).
