Just assume for the moment that the files are really bad. That there's terrible stuff in them that's going to shock the senses. Heck let's pretend that Trump is a major figure in them. Even then how on Earth could the Democrats distance themselves from the Shockwave? What on Earth would their excuse be for not having released them when Biden was in charge? What would their excuse be for not using it against Trump? I mean any reasonable person would have to wonder what the frick is still in there if things get released and they only look bad for one side

Or, a lot of powerful people who donate to both sides.
The politicians don't have to be the ones on the island in order to be involved. It could be that Epstein's customers have been paying off people to keep their activities out of the public eye.

They’re in a no win situation. If they released everything they would undoubtedly have to redact names of victims and people who were on the periphery but not involved in criminal activity. That’s probably a lot of redactions. Many will be left assuming some of those redactions are high up people like DJT among others.
