Didn't Obama's illegal spying and unmasking disrupt this moral arc?

Bono should ask Stella how to get his groove back.

Typical pity party tantrum from a self absorbed snowflake.

I really wish ALL celebrities would keep their voices out of politics.

Really like U2's older stuff.

Am willing to look past political views for entertainment (practically have to considering how slanted the industry is).

But forgive me for not stopping and laughing at you for thinking you're so fricking important that the arc of the moral universe must be to your liking in order to release an album of you hitting things, strumming strings, and singing.

Nope.

Weaponizing the IRS to silence dissent? Moral arc intact.

Walking weapons of all sorts across the Mexican border to drug cartels, to be used to slaughter their opposition? Moral arc: beautiful.

Using the force of government to require citizens to buy products they neither want or need? Moral arc: no problem.

Using the force of government to require citizens to buy products for other citizens who are capable of providing for themselves? Moral arc: lovely.

Standing by as people you put in harm's way are slaughtered and tortured, after they begged and pleaded for security, and therefore their lives? Moral arc: unmoved.

Bono needs to frick off. Obviously, he's just stupid enough to say something like democracy is just a blip in history, and think he sounds intelligent.

But moving to avoid taxes is bigly moral.

So Trump wins a democratic election, governs under the legal parameters of said post election, and Bono proclaims democracy under attack because he doesn't like the results of the democratic election. The left, ladies and gentlemen. Round of applause.

Their last truly "great" album was released in 1991.

I liked "All That You Can't Leave Behind" and "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb".

Other than that it's been spotty, with a few good singles here and there. I like their latest single.

This is going to be my excuse for everything for now on.

"Why are you late submitting payroll, Fonz?
"Trump disrupted the moral arc of the universe."

I like the remix version a lot - that might be my favorite U2 song in 10 years (I did like "Every Breaking Wave" off the last album a ton). The standard rock version doesn't do it for me though.

After 1990, U2 is dead to me. Hate entertainers telling me what to believe. Idiots that don't even live in this country or live in a mansion behind a wall don't know real life issues and therefore don't have a right to tell me what to accept.
